Dionne M. Blaesing, ESQ

Dionne Blaesing obtained her Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1994 and was admitted to the Florida Bar 1994. She previously attended Barnard College of Columbia University but obtained her B.A. cum laude from the University of South Florida College of Behavioral and Social Sciences with an emphasis on Economics in 1990.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Dionne’s 20 year background in veterinary science included serving as emergency technician at the SPCA Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, as Chief of Nursing for Boston Zoological Society/ MDC Zoo/ US DA import-export facility, managing a local veterinary hospital in Pasco County, Florida and serving as officer/director/shareholder for the corporation handling non-medical adjunct services. Dionne owns Belmont Kennel and has successfully shown her AKC registered champion line of Cairn Terriers in both confirmation and obedience. Finally Dionne served as a Board member and President of the Suncoast SPCA in New Port Richey for over a decade.

In January 21, 2008, Dionne was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court and the President of the Florida Bar awarded her the prestigious Sixth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Award. As well as volunteering attorney counsel to animal welfare organizations, Dionne has been a Board Member and volunteer for Bay Area Legal Services, Inc, for approximately 9 years.

Her memberships include the Florida Bar, the Business/Probate Section of the Florida Bar Association, West Pasco Bar Association, the West Pasco Estate Planning and Probate group, the Foreclosure Defense group, and the Cairn Terrier Club of America.
